Tonight was Cute Night 2.0. I was able to get a couple of new pics in and was even able to go this time! I also doubled the number of pictures taken this time around. TWO!!!! The show, as advertised, was very cute. It was also extremely funny. From the interpretive dance set to the Kids Bop version of Lady Gaga to one of the best songs about Chewbacca I’ve heard (Yes, I’ve heard more than one), It was all great. I’ll never look at the use of puppets as an educational aid the same way again.
I have to say a heart felt thank you to my sister Sara and The Beta Society. It was great meeting everyone and I’m really excited at the possibility of working with any or all of you again. This is what I love to do and having my work seen public as a part of something is without compare.
Cute Night wasn’t all I did tonight. A few years ago I did a small comic arc that involved the Care Bears. Those turned out to be some of my more popular comics, behind the Ryo comic, of course. Tonight, I posted a follow up to those featuring Brave Heart Lion. It’s been rattling around my head since I first finished the Care Bear comics and it just couldn’t wait any longer.
Here are the pics from tonight:
